DESCRIPTION:The Ferndale Library and Affirmations co-host a social club/book club for kids in grades 4-8\, meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library’s program room. \nThis is a social hour that includes a book discussion. Each month\, attendees have the chance to read and then discuss a selected book at the Reading Rainbow. Kids don’t have to have finished – or even started the book – to attend the Reading Rainbow; the rest of the hour is free time dedicated to socializing/crafting/hanging out together\, \nYou can pick up a copy of this month’s book at the Ferndale Library. \nOn January 27\, the group will discuss “Operatic” by Kyo Maclear.
