Owners of popular Detroit restaurants Grey Ghost, Second Best and Basan have shared more details about their new project opening in Ferndale.
Four Man Ladder Hospitality announced in January their plans to bring the Grey Ghost burger to a new fast casual location in Ferndale. That project now has a name and concept art of the interior.

As The Detroit News reports, the new restaurant is called Little Ghost, and the rendering shows what patrons should expect inside the carry out space once it opens this summer. The menu will include the elder Ghost’s acclaimed burger, a chicken sandwich and classic sides like French fries.
“We’re really excited to bring this new project to life,” Four Man chef and co-owner Joe Giacomino said in a press release. “The Grey Ghost burger has built quite a loyal following — we’re thrilled to be able to offer it in a playful new way in Oakland County.”
Little Ghost’s 1,000-square-foot building at 22305 Woodward Avenue is the first of possibly multiple locations throughout metro Detroit.
“We plan to focus all of our time and attention on our flagship Ferndale location as we traverse the new-to-us world of fast casual dining,” chef and co-owner John Vermiglio told Ferndale Radio in January. “Long-term, we hope to bring this concept to a number of locations in and around metro Detroit, but no future plans exist at this time. We can’t wait to introduce ourselves and our food to the incredible residents of Ferndale.”
