The pavilion at Luisa’s Artisanal Street Food in downtown Ferndale will host Hardcore in Ferndale on Friday, March 28. Seven bands ranging from hardcore to shoegaze will perform — plus DJ Fractured Fox will spin between sets. Attendees can shop from local artists at the event.
The night will be headlined by Albany, New York hardcore band Halo Bite.
Hardcore in Ferndale is produced by local promoters SOB 313 Booking and Bellas Beatdown Bunker & Booking Co.
“I’m the booker/promoter. I’m the one who sets up the music and the event,” SOB 313’s Max Gilbert said. “The person who mainly does all the shows and is the sole reason it’s happening is Zack at Bella’s Beatdown Bunker. We are good friends/partners when it comes booking shows and making them happen.”
Tickets are available at noxp.org until noon Friday. Raffle tickets will be sold to benefit the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation as they help rebuild homes in Southwest Detroit damaged by the flood in February.
Luisa’s Artisanal Street Food is located at 22851 Woodward Ave in Ferndale, just steps away from Ferndale Radio’s home inside the Rust Belt Market.
