Earlier this year we spoke to Jason Singer, better know as Michigander, to talk about his Lollapalooza debut. Fast forward a few months later and the Detroit alt rock darling headlines the Magic Stick in Midtown tonight (November 4).
I caught up with Michigander to discuss his Lollapalooza experience, prepping for this fall 2021 tour, launching his podcast Michigander Mondays and (gasp!) new music ready to be released soon, including a collaboration with Manchester Orchestra. Listen to the interview below.

If you can’t make it to the Magic Stick show tonight, Michigander will return to the road next year supporting the aforementioned Manchester Orchestra. They’ll stop by the Fillmore Detroit on March 12, 2022.
