Detroit singer-songwriter Olivia Dear just dropped her new music video for single “Halfway” today (August 11).
The clip features Dear trying to figure out if the long-term relationship she’s in is worth saving. The video emphasizes the couple’s struggle to communicate, whether they’re laying in bed or watching TV.
“I can’t love you halfway / You can’t hold me halfway / We can’t fall in halfway,” Dear sings in the chorus.
The video was filmed in Detroit, as you can see from the opening shot, and directed by Adam Green, founder of Green Sky Detroit. Watch the video for “Halfway” below.
