Detroit band Bluhm have been busy releasing new music this year — even after dropping their Mostly Forever EP last December.
The alt-pop duo stopped by Ferndale Radio inside The Rust Belt Market to put an acoustic spin on one of their songs. They also chatted about the latest tracks that they’ve been dropping ahead of their headlining show at The El Club in Southwest Detroit on August 29.
Bluhm are married couple Claire Bluhm and Cameron John Marion, who met in 2021 during an open mic night that Claire was hosting. After releasing various singles throughout 2022, they significantly increased their output by releasing two full-length albums in a span of just 10 months — 2023’s Garden of Hearts and 2024’s Midnight Hill.
Bluhm’s breakthrough arrived with last year’s single “Low Light,” capturing over one million streams on Spotify. Claire and Cameron are ready to take Bluhm to the next level as they prepare to drop their third album this October. Watch the full interview below.
Tickets to see Bluhm live at The El Club in Detroit on August 29 are available at dice.fm.
