It’s that time of year again to celebrate that hearty breed of folks that surf the Great Lakes.
Lick the Plate host David Boylan is also a Great Lakes surfer and it’s one of his favorite shows of the year. This time he is in Empire, MI with high school surfers Niles Segerlind, Parker Sparling and Nik Carman.
We also dedicate this show to the memory of Beryl Skrocki, a friend and former guest on LTP who was part of the family that owned Great Lakes Surf & Kayak in Empire. Besides being a bright light in this world, she was a champion of the unsalted surfing lifestyle and she will be missed.
