Taste the Diaspora Detroit founders join Lick the Plate

This week, Lick the Plate host David Boylan is hanging with the co-founders of Taste the Diaspora Detroit, Ederique Goudia, Jermond Booze, and Raphael Wright. They are participating in the upcoming Freep Film Festival program “Four Films, Four Chefs, Four Nights” presented by Frame and editorial director and former Detroit Free Press restaurant critic Mark Kurlyandchik.

The Taste the Diaspora crew will be creating a dinner to compliment the “Southern Foodways Alliance Shorts” feature that explores the diverse food cultures of the American South on April 29. They describe the festival meal, plus share some of their personal food and music favorites.
