Two friends want to offer women in metro Detroit a safe space to dance the night away – well, not the whole night.
Called Cinderellas on the Dance Floor, the women-only dance party runs 7-11 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at 215 West in downtown Ferndale. Organizers and longtime friends Elena Kapintcheva and Melanie Derro joined The 11th Hour to talk about the event, including how they connected with Detroit house legend Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale and acclaimed DJ Rimarkable as co-headliners for the night.
